Ronald’s journey into the industry began at the age of 22, inspired by his father, Ivan Runstedler, whose leadership and passion in the field set the foundation for Ronald’s own career. He started as a John Hancock agent in 1980, joining the company’s Signator division as a financial advisor in 1983. He is a member of the John Hancock Regional Honor Club, a distinction he earned in his first year and maintained for many years thereafter.

Licensed in life, health and annuity, he has guided clients through financial strategies with a steady and supportive hand, offering strategies designed to help preserve their future while optimizing risk. Whether assisting families with wealth preservation or helping retirees establish a legacy, Ronald’s approach emphasizes helpful strategies amassed through years of experience.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Pennsylvania, Ronald grew up fishing along the shores of Lake Erie and Presque Isle Bay, a pastime he still cherishes today. Married to Susan for over 40 years, he takes immense pride in their two children, Leah and Ross, who have always made him proud to be their father.
